Accessibility Statement.

Peak One Restorations wants every homeowner in our service area to be able to use this website, including people who browse with a keyboard, a screen reader, screen magnification, voice control, or captions turned on.

Our conformance target

We are working to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. That standard covers things like color contrast, keyboard operability, visible focus indicators, form labeling, text alternatives for images, and control over moving content.

What we have done

  • A "Skip to main content" link is the first item you reach with the keyboard.
  • Every page uses semantic landmarks and a single main heading, so screen reader users can move through the structure.
  • Text and interface colors are checked against the WCAG contrast minimums.
  • Menus, dialogs, the quote wizard, and the photo and video viewers can be operated by keyboard and closed with the Escape key.
  • Form fields have labels, and errors are described in text, not color alone.
  • Moving content — the scrolling badge strip and the background video in the homepage hero — can be paused, and it does not animate for visitors whose device is set to reduce motion.
  • Images that carry meaning have text alternatives; decorative images do not.

Known limitations

  • Captions on two project videos are still being finalised. The caption track is wired up and currently shows a placeholder cue; the full transcript-based captions are being written.
  • Some project photography does not yet have detailed descriptive alternative text beyond the project name and location.
  • A small number of third-party elements we embed — for example the Better Business Bureau seal and the map on our contact page — are controlled by those providers, so we cannot change their code directly.

We do not use an accessibility overlay or plugin. Accessibility is handled in the website's own code.
