RESIDENTIAL ROOFING, EXPLAINED
What makes residential roofing different.
Residential roofs come with their own systems, materials, and insurance dynamics. Here's what to expect.
Built for the homes here
Most Central Ohio homes use asphalt shingle systems. We're a GAF Certified Installer, which means we use GAF materials exclusively for shingle systems — and you get the full GAF system warranty, not just shingle coverage.
Fast, predictable timeline
A typical residential roof replacement takes 1–2 days from tear-off to cleanup. We schedule around your week, work efficiently on-site, and you can stay in your home throughout the entire process.
Insurance claim expertise
We document residential storm damage to insurance standards and know what carriers need to approve a full replacement instead of a partial repair.
HOW IT WORKS
Three steps from call to completed roof.
Whether you're filing a storm claim or planning a retail replacement, the process is straight forward.
Request your inspection
Fill out our quote form or call us directly. We confirm a time to come out — usually within 48 hours of your call.
We document everything
We climb the roof, photograph every slope, and document any damage. You get a written report you can use with your insurance carrier.
We do the work
Approved scope, scheduled install, full tear-off and replacement, and a final walkthrough with you on the property.
RECENT WIN
Community-wide hail claim, fully approved
After a Logan County hail event, multiple homeowners in one subdivision had been told their roofs were fine by drive-by inspectors. We climbed every roof, documented the damage, and built carrier-ready claim packages — full GAF system roofs installed door-to-door.

If your roof is under 20 years old and you've had a recent hail or wind event, you likely have a valid claim — even if damage isn't visible from the ground. We climb the roof and document what's actually there. Free inspections settle it either way.
How long does a residential roof replacement take?
A typical residential roof replacement takes 1–2 days. Tear-off, decking inspection, underlayment, shingle installation, and cleanup all happen in that window. You can stay in your home throughout.
What's included in the GAF system warranty?
The full GAF system warranty covers the entire roof system — shingles, underlayment, starter strips, hip and ridge caps, ventilation — not just the shingles. Because we're GAF certified, every install we do qualifies for this coverage.
Can you handle my insurance claim from start to finish?
Yes. We coordinate with your insurance adjuster, document damage to industry standards, negotiate scope of work, and handle the installation once approved. You don't have to manage the back-and-forth — that's our job.
What if my insurance claim was already denied?
Don't give up. Most denials are documentation problems we can fix. We re-inspect, document the damage properly, and help you appeal. We've gotten denied claims fully approved on appeal.
