Back to Roof It Forward

No purchase, payment or obligation of any kind is necessary to nominate, be nominated, vote or win. A purchase will not improve your chances. This promotion is not connected to any insurance claim. Void where prohibited.

1. Sponsor and partners

Roof It Forward (the "Promotion") is sponsored and administered by Peak One Restorations LLC, 117.5 W Columbus Ave, Bellefontaine, Ohio 43311 ("Peak One" or "Sponsor"), 937-935-9155. Liftoff Local LLC assists with administration on Sponsor's behalf. Peak of Hope Shelter, 225 North Detroit Street, Bellefontaine, Ohio 43311, a 501(c)(3) organization, is Sponsor's community partner; its Executive Director serves on the Panel and its name and logo appear in Promotion materials. Peak of Hope Shelter does not administer the Promotion, does not select the Winner alone, and bears no financial obligation under it.

GAF covers qualifying GAF-manufactured materials for the grand-prize roof through its Community Contractor Program. GAF does not administer the Promotion, does not select the Winner, and is not a sponsor of the Promotion.

2. Promotion period

Nominations open at 7:00 a.m. Eastern Time on Friday, September 18, 2026 and close at 11:59 p.m. ET on Sunday, October 18, 2026 (the "Nomination Period"). Public voting opens at 8:00 a.m. ET on Friday, October 23, 2026 and closes at 11:59 p.m. ET on Thursday, October 29, 2026 (the "Voting Period"). Sponsor's server clock is the official timekeeper.

3. Who may be nominated

A nominated household (the "Nominee") must, as of the date of nomination: (a) include at least one person aged 18 or older who owns the home; (b) occupy that home as their primary residence; and (c) be located in Logan County, Ohio — including, without limitation, Bellefontaine, Russells Point, Lakeview, West Liberty, Zanesfield, Belle Center, DeGraff and Huntsville. The home must be a residential structure with a roof of a type Sponsor installs. Owners, employees and contractors of Sponsor and Liftoff Local, the members of the Panel, and their immediate family and household members, are not eligible to be nominated. Nominations for homes outside Logan County will be acknowledged and offered a complimentary inspection, but are not eligible for a prize.

4. Who may nominate

Anyone aged 18 or older may submit a nomination; there is no residency requirement to nominate. A person may nominate more than one household, but only once per household. A household may nominate itself using the self-nomination option on the Promotion page.

5. How to nominate

Complete the form at peakonerestorations.com/roofitforward with the Nominee's name, the home's address or town, a short statement of why the household should receive a new roof, and the nominator's name and email. A photograph is optional. The nominator must confirm that they have told the Nominee, or that they understand Sponsor will contact the Nominee before anything about them is made public. Incomplete, illegible, automated or duplicate entries may be rejected.

6. Nominee consent and verification

Sponsor will contact each Nominee privately before that household is identified in any public way, and will obtain written consent before publishing any name, photograph or story. A Nominee may decline consideration at any time by replying to Sponsor's message or using the decline link provided, and Sponsor will then remove the nomination. Sponsor may verify ownership, occupancy and location by any reasonable means, including public records and a visit to the property, and may set aside any nomination it cannot verify.

7. Selection of finalists

Between October 19 and October 22, 2026, a panel (the "Panel") made up of one owner of Sponsor and two independent judges who are not employed by Sponsor — the Executive Director of Peak of Hope Shelter and an independent local community member — will review all eligible nominations and select three finalist households (the "Finalists"). The Panel will consider the condition of the roof, the household's circumstances as described in the nomination, and the practicality of completing the work within the Promotion schedule. Panel decisions are made in the Panel's sole discretion and are final. Sponsor will inspect each Finalist's roof before the Finalists are announced, and a household may be replaced as a Finalist if inspection shows the work cannot be completed within the scope of the prize.

8. Public vote

During the Voting Period, members of the public may vote for one Finalist per day at peakonerestorations.com/roofitforward. A voter must provide an email address and verify it on their first vote. One vote per verified email address per calendar day (resetting at 12:00 a.m. ET); email addresses are normalized so that variations of the same address count as one. Sponsor may use rate limiting, device and network signals and other reasonable measures to protect the integrity of the vote, and may void any votes it determines in good faith were cast by automated means, through multiple or fraudulent accounts, or in exchange for payment or consideration. Vote totals may be displayed publicly during the Voting Period.

9. Determining the winner

The Finalist with the highest number of valid votes at the close of the Voting Period will be the winner (the "Winner"), subject to Sections 10 and 12. The Panel will decide ties and any dispute over the validity of votes; the Panel's decision is final. The Winner will be announced on or about Friday, October 30, 2026.

10. Winner conditions

Before work begins, the Winner (or an adult owner of the home) must: (a) sign an affidavit of eligibility, a liability and publicity release, and a written social-media consent covering use of the household's name, photographs and story; (b) provide a completed IRS Form W-9; (c) grant Sponsor and its crew access to the property on the scheduled dates; and (d) sign Sponsor's standard scope of work describing the prize as installed. If a Finalist cannot be reached within five business days, declines the prize, is found ineligible, or does not satisfy these conditions, the prize may be awarded to the eligible Finalist with the next highest vote count.

11. Prizes and approximate retail values

Grand prize (one). A complete tear-off and replacement of the roof on the Winner's primary residence, performed by Sponsor. The roof is a complete GAF Lifetime Roofing System: GAF Timberline HDZ architectural shingles with qualifying GAF accessories, including underlayment, ice-and-water shield in the valleys, starter strip, ridge cap and ridge ventilation, together with flashing, fasteners and standard decking repair, and the applicable GAF system warranty. Full tear-off to the deck; no overlay. Sponsor selects materials and shingle color from qualifying options in consultation with the Winner, and obtains all required permits.

Who covers what. GAF covers qualifying GAF-manufactured materials through its Community Contractor Program. Sponsor covers all labor, tear-off, disposal, permits, drip edge, fasteners, flashing, sealants, delivery and everything the materials program does not cover. The Winner pays nothing for the scope described here.

Excluded: structural repair, code-required upgrades beyond standard decking, specialty materials (including metal, slate, tile and premium shingle lines), gutters, siding, skylight or chimney rebuilds, and detached structures. If inspection shows that work outside this scope is required, Sponsor will describe and quote it to the Winner in writing before any work begins; the Winner may accept the quote, proceed with the prize scope alone, or decline the prize.

Approximate retail value of the grand prize: $12,000 to $25,000, depending on roof size, pitch and decking condition. Actual retail value will be determined at completion and reported on IRS Form 1099. Any difference between the actual and approximate retail value will not be awarded.

Second place (one). A $500 Lowe's gift card. Approximate retail value: $500.

Third place (one). A gift basket of goods purchased by Sponsor at retail from businesses in Logan County, plus Peak One branded merchandise. Approximate retail value: $100.

All three Finalists receive a complimentary roof inspection with a written summary of findings. The inspection carries no obligation.

Prizes are non-transferable and may not be substituted or redeemed for cash, except that Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if a stated prize becomes unavailable. Total approximate retail value of all prizes: $12,600 to $25,600.

12. Panel authority

The Panel has final authority over every question of eligibility, verification, ties, withdrawals, vote validity and interpretation of these Rules. Sponsor may disqualify any nomination, Finalist or vote that it determines in good faith is fraudulent, misrepresents material facts, violates these Rules, or was obtained by tampering with the entry or voting process.

13. Scheduling and weather

Sponsor intends to install the grand-prize roof during the week of November 2, 2026, with the week of November 9, 2026 held as a weather alternate. Installation dates depend on weather, material availability and site conditions and may be rescheduled by Sponsor. If installation cannot reasonably be completed in 2026, Sponsor will complete it at the earliest suitable date in spring 2027. Sponsor will keep the Winner informed in writing of any change.

14. Insurance

The grand prize is funded by Sponsor, with qualifying materials covered by GAF through its Community Contractor Program. No insurance claim will be filed on the prize roof, and no part of the prize is conditioned on, or connected to, any insurance policy or claim. Sponsor makes no representation about insurance coverage to any nominator, Nominee, Finalist or voter, and neither nomination nor participation has any effect on any insurance claim a household may have or later make. Sponsor does not waive, pay, rebate or absorb insurance deductibles.

15. Taxes

The Winner is responsible for all federal, state and local taxes on the prize. Sponsor will report the value of the grand prize on IRS Form 1099 as required by law, which is why a completed Form W-9 is a condition of the prize.

16. Publicity and use of nominations

By submitting a nomination, the nominator agrees that Sponsor may display the nominator's first name and the text of the nomination on the Promotion page, on Sponsor's social media accounts and in a printed card delivered to the Nominee. By agreeing to be considered as a Finalist, a Nominee consents, where permitted by law and without further compensation, to Sponsor's use of their name, town, likeness, voice, story and photographs or video of them and of the exterior of their home, in connection with the Promotion and Sponsor's advertising and marketing in any medium. Sponsor will not publish a Nominee's street address.

17. Property access and release

The Winner grants Sponsor, its employees, subcontractors and suppliers access to the property as reasonably required to inspect, prepare for and complete the work, and to photograph and film it. By accepting a prize, each prize recipient releases and agrees to hold harmless Sponsor, Liftoff Local, and their respective owners, employees, agents and contractors from any claim, loss or damage arising from participation in the Promotion or the acceptance, possession or use of a prize, except to the extent caused by Sponsor's negligence in performing the work. Sponsor's workmanship warranty and the manufacturer's warranty apply to the grand-prize roof on the same terms as Sponsor's paid work.

18. Charitable donations are separate from the Promotion

Promotion materials may display Peak of Hope Shelter's name, logo and donation link. Donating to Peak of Hope Shelter is not required to nominate, vote or win, does not create or improve any entry, vote, judging preference or chance of winning, and confers no advantage of any kind. Donations are made directly to Peak of Hope Shelter; neither Sponsor nor Liftoff Local collects, handles, holds or receives any portion of them.

19. Privacy

Information collected in the Promotion is used to administer the Promotion and, unless the person opts out, for Sponsor's own communications about the Promotion and its services. Sponsor does not sell participant information. Every email Sponsor sends includes an unsubscribe link. Voting-integrity data (IP address, device information and timestamps) is retained only as long as needed to verify the vote and resolve disputes.

20. General conditions

Sponsor may suspend, modify or cancel the Promotion if fraud, technical failure or any other cause beyond Sponsor's reasonable control impairs its integrity or proper conduct, and in that case may select Finalists or a Winner from eligible nominations and valid votes received before the action was taken. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete or misdirected nominations or votes, or for technical failures of any kind. Any attempt to undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and Sponsor reserves the right to seek remedies to the fullest extent permitted.

21. Not affiliated with Meta

This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. Participants release Meta from any liability connected with the Promotion. Any information provided is provided to Sponsor, not to Meta.

22. Governing law

These Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be brought in the state courts located in Logan County, Ohio.

23. Winner announcement and rules

The names and towns of the Finalists and the Winner will be posted at peakonerestorations.com/roofitforward on or about October 23, 2026, and may be requested in writing for 60 days after that date from Sponsor at the address in Section 1. These Rules are available at the same page for the duration of the Promotion.
